This past weekend in Toronto was glorious! Warm and sunny and beautiful. So, with Nan, Saba, Taya, and uncle Ilan, who’s visiting from Norway, we went for a fun hike in one of Toronto’s urban trails.

It’s so cool to be standing in the middle of a forest, looking over a cliff into a small river… The only thing that reminds you that you’re in a city are the highrises in the distance. Very serene and fun and we had a blast on our hike, then playing in a park, and then lunch together.

A great day. Enjoy the pics.

Wow! i feel like I have just been for a walk in the woods too. What a beautiful place to walk – woods and then open space – and then swings! What more could you want? Glorious weather and you had that. We have had good days like that and I went to Kew Gardens on one of them. Living on the fourth floor now is great – I see the changing sky closer at hand. The view from the balcony is great and I have Savta’s binoculars.
I am not yet into photo-taking (Jack did that) and so I forgot to take the camera. Now we have gloomy dark and damp weather but it may brighten up. Diane xxx
